Fifteen of the 19 Contra Costa County cities and the County, participated in three of four workshops offered under a grant from the San Francisco Foundation to ICLEI member cities. During the first three workshops, cities were introduced to ICLEI’s CACP software for completing a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory, completed a community-wide GHG inventory for their city, and discussed opportunities for setting city targets similar (or beyond) the Kyoto Protocol.
