- Americorps intern hired through Air Resources Board grant.
- Working on Climate Action Plan.
- Started food composting in collaboration with Richmond and El Cerrito.
- Replanting median islands and other landscaped areas with native landscaping and changing to smart irrigation system.
- Adopted the Seven Principles of Bay Friendly Landscaping.
- Partnering with Albany, Piedmont, and El Cerrito to implement the Small Cities Climate Action Partnership.
- Formation of the General Plan for the community including environmental protection issues, air quality and vegetation/wildlife management
- EECBG funding for LED lighting project and interior lighting project.
- San Pablo Watershed Neighbors Education and Restoration Society (SPAWNERS)won Sustainable Contra Costa (SCOCO) community award because of their work with the West County's riparian habitats.
